AI
AI Features, Built Into WordPress
Not another API key in a settings page — AI capability packaged as a maintainable, licensed plugin inside your client’s site.
AI that ships as a versioned, licensed plugin - not an API key buried in a settings page.
Connecting an AI API to WordPress is a weekend project, and that is exactly the problem:
what gets delivered is usually a settings page with an API key and no thought about what happens
in month six.
We package AI capability the way we package everything else — as a proper plugin. Versioned,
updatable, with the API key held server-side where the client cannot leak it, and with sensible
behaviour when the model is slow, rate-limited or down.
What this looks like in practice
- An assistant that answers from the client’s own content, not the open internet
- Product description generation wired into the WooCommerce editor
- Content workflows that draft, but leave a human in the approval step
- Support triage that routes rather than replaces
What we will push back on
If the use case is “our competitor has a chatbot”, we will say so. AI that answers customer
questions wrongly costs more than no AI at all, and one bad interaction outlives a launch
announcement.
Engagement
$3,000–8,000 depending on scope. We scope these tightly: one capability,
done properly, rather than a platform.
