- Free for two languages; nothing is deleted if a Pro licence ends
Most multilingual WordPress sites run on WPML. It stores every translation as a separate post and asks for a licence every year. Leaving it usually costs you the translated URLs that search engines already know, and the translations themselves.
Websel Multilingual was built for that move. It imports the WPML translations into the original post, keeps every translated URL (/en/hotel-amenities/ stays /en/hotel-amenities/) and serves all languages from one source. Elementor pages are matched element by element, even when WPML gave the translated copy different element IDs. A dry run shows what will happen before anything changes, and every import leaves a JSON report.
We built it to move a live four-language hotel site (Elementor, Yoast, WooCommerce) off WPML. After the switch the translated pages matched the WPML version text for text, and no source-language text leaked into the translations.
Free and Pro
The free plugin serves two languages (your site language plus one target language) with every feature: translated URLs, the language switcher, hreflang and Yoast support, the Translations tab, AI translation with your own Claude API key and the WPML importer. Pro unlocks unlimited languages and adds automatic updates and priority support. If a Pro licence ends, the site keeps working with two languages and nothing is deleted.
